Geary A. Brogden

Married to Sue Fulton in 1962 and together they have three sons and seven grandchildren. 

Education And Preparation:

Diploma, and Graduate Diploma and MA studies in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary of Fort Worth, Texas and Southern Baptist Seminary Extension of Nashville, Tennessee.  BA and Associate Studies in Music and Business Administration at schools in Texas and Oklahoma.

Ministry Experiences:  35 years of ministerial experience and service including:

            2003 to Present           Minister of Music and Administration

                                                Ramah First Baptist Church: Palmetto, GA.

            1999 to 2003               Worship Ministries Pastor

                                                Hoffmantown Church: Albuquerque, NM

            1997 to 1999               Minister of Music and Associate Pastor

                                                Baptist Temple Church; Houston, TX

            1996 to 1997               Minister of Music and Education

                                                Monterey Baptist Church; Lubbock, TX

            1976 to 1996               Minister of Music, Youth and Education

                                                First Baptist Church; Friona, TX

            1978                                                        Licensed and Ordained to Gospel Ministry at

                                                First Baptist Church; Friona, TX

            1968 to 1976               Served five churches in Texas and Kansas after

                                                Surrendering to full time ministry.

 

Ministry Experience:  35 years of ministerial experience and service including:

Presently sings with the Sons Of Jubal for the Georgia Baptist Convention. Director of Education; Bible Teacher and Facilitator of Religious Studies; Served as an active member of the Texas Singing Men while participating with the West Texas and the Southeast Texas Singing Men Choirs as well as the Singing Churchmen of New Mexico, serving as president of all three choirs. Traveled to Mexico, Brazil and Australia in Evangelistic Missions. Has led evangelistic Revivals, Crusades, Conferences, Mission Trips, and Choir Concert Tours across the USA

Geary's Life Goal

To be obedient to God’s will in the planning, developing, coordinating and the facilitating of religious education and musical experiences through church ministries.
